Background:

Currently, as is commonplace, we have many different categories for risk assessments (Safety, Environment, Cost, Reputation etc.), but the field is limited to 1024 characters.

This is an issue, as we then need to shorten our descriptions to make them fit, which can result in descriptions not making sense to the end user.

Request for Change:

Make this field be able to record much larger. As the field height in the webpage is already dynamic, my presumption is that we can change the character limit in the DB to be larger without significant issue?

Another option would be that we can specify a risk descriptor based on selected category, type, or subtype combinations, so that the end user will only see the description based on the selection?
