SAM Profile - Email Address to not include spaces

The email address on a traveller's SAM Profile to be restricted so that spaces before/after the email address cannot be accepted.
There have been instances of failed to book errors with CBAPI relating to 'invalid email address' and majority of these is due to a space after the email address. EG. 'johnsmith@gmail.com '
If this field could restrict someone even adding a space, that would be great.

Judging by the time of this submission, I'd guess VARA.
However not just solving for Carrier Bookings, but just in general for clean data to not have a space at the end or start of email addresses would be helpful.
