Hi Lisa Boyle this is already possible. Current parameters in WAIO workflow are as follows:
NA	MaximumFuturePeriod	0.75	Maximum period after today a request can be submitted in years, (no restriction if blank or negative).	Edit
NA	MaximumPastPeriod	1	Maximum period before today a request can be submitted in weeks, (no restriction if blank or negative).
