Within the SAM profile, the field 'Next Roster Start Date' cannot be edited via the SAM profile if there is current or future travel. If a roster is removed, eg. '14D 7R' is changed to 'visitor' it would make sense that the next roster start date and transport group fields are automatically cleared as they only pertain to a valid roster type.

Currently our process for demobilisation includes changing the resource type to a code that is for future demobilisation and this resource type is set to have a mandatory completion date as well as not allowing a roster. When a profile is updated to resource type Future demobilisation, the roster field is automatically updated to visitor. The flow on effect will be a streamlined process that will then clear the next roster start date and transport group fields.
