I am recommend adding a date in and out for a temp room assignment, similar to the future room assignment just with an exit date. This tool will help with permanent room owner needing to change room for a short period of time due to multiple reasons e.g. maintenance issues. Currently when moving a room owner, we must assign a new perm room and then in the room, lock we add the notes that the perm room owner wants to return to their room after work has been completed. If a new room isn’t assigned, then the perm room owner can be moved to different rooms each swing until his room goes back online. As you can see this leaves us with room for error, using the recommended tool can benefit the resident and the processing side of things ensure an easy transition and peace of mind for the processor and client.
